Digital Age.

In an age where everything is instant, immediate and accessible it’s no great surprise that fashion is forever taking new forms and reaching to ever increasing height beams in order to grab attention create crazes and trends and ultimately make their fashion mark.

With tumblr, pinterest and digg just a click away. (Don’t even get us started on Google + = in LOVE) it’s fun free and easy. Quick and ever so satisfying. There’s nothing that goes down better with your ‘good morning’ coffee than a quick little post here on pinterest or having a gander at the WIWT crew or checking out the latest make up looks, this of course is all made possible by quick ,easy and effortless photography.

Photography is one of my all time passions, more appreciation than active spectatorship- Iphone and Ipad photos capture the moment be it love, passion or happiness. The world of fashion has become a better place since the introduction of Social Media into our everyday lives. We’re able to dive behind the scenes following things from the start to the very finish from the ideas board to the front row of LFW.

Creativity in the fashion world is flowing more than Jamal at SBTV drops bars. It’s that serious. Although there is a serious side of fashion especially haute couture or highly publicised brands and websites. Social media has given an outlet to stores like us at 31B Store to meet new fashionistas, share ideas and let the good times roll, show that fashion has a real face and is made up of real people.

 In essence it’s about being down with the kids. Accessible anywhere at anytime. 31b ironfistnails

Urban photography and video really captures my creative attention for 31B Store. The idea of showcasing not just a pair of leggings but a look, feel and emotion just blows my mind perhaps it’s because I’m ‘arty’ When you look at magazines such as teen vogue or most recently cosmopolitan featuring Vanessa Hudgen their attention to detail is remarkable. Showcasing things in finite detail, styled to the hilt and ready to rock. 

I like things to tell a story, provoke emotion and their captivating photos certainly do the trick, 31B’s are more grunge and industry inspired using real people in our videos and photos. The less airbrushing the better, let inner beauty radiate and shine through I say! With the final piece in my hands the best way to share with you all is via the power of the Internet.
