  As my boyfriend is about to discover this new age fashion trend for spring 2013 is just a fantastic excuse for girls to be lazy and to borrow that oversized Iron Fist tee that will just look epic with a leather skater skirt and hi-hi T.U.K creepers and not to mention that new neck chocker.... ooo the imagination runs wild.

    

 The ‘Boyfriend’ trend has been easing its way back onto the scene for a while now, sneaking in with the return of the 90’s dungarees and then the girls who wear boys tops.  Grunge blew up and now it’s a case of anything goes. It’s fun. It’s fashion. I’m so ready to just rip open my wardrobe and throw every tee I own on with a pair of baggy boyfriend jeans = outfits done for about a month my collection of Iron Fist tees is just incredible and ridiculous at the same time. UK brand Lynsey Luu has finally landed at 31B Store. Our aim is to showcase and share with the world as many great Indie brands and labels as possible and we’re so pleased that Lynsey Luu has finally arrived!

So what inspires these weird and wonderful creations?

As a UK designer Lynsey is inspired by the most randomest of things Loud, Proud & Brilliantly Bonkers! Monty Python sketches, Terry Pratchett books, video games, zombies, fanzines and pretty much anything weird and wonderful!

 

Some jewellery is designed to sit subtly around your neck or twinkle delicately from your earlobes; plus some clothing just blends into the background. All well and good, but there are times when you need to be loud, proud and ever so brilliantly bonkers. For those times, look no further than the quirky collection from Lynsey Luu.

This is what our picture should have looked like..... This was taken at a business breakfast a couple of months ago- fair to say I can't quite remember what the meeting entailed as I spent most of the morning staring at my plate. This was our actual pancake day pancake...
